School Clubs: Sporting

During the course of the school year we offer after-school clubs for football, rugby, netball, hockey, gymnastics, rounders and multi-sports.  These clubs are either offered free, and run voluntarily by members of staff, or by Premier Sports, who charge two pounds per session to cover the cost of their staff.

Following an all-pupil Extended Schools' Survey, in November, 2008, we appear to be offering the range of clubs that children want, although a number requested the return of swimming.  We are investigating how we might be able to achieve this, taking into account economic considerations.
